Make your own mints

There are probably lots of ways to create these mints, but I do everything the easy way.

I created a 12 x 12 sheet of red and white stripes to keep in my "Things I Might Need File".(It comes in handy to create plaids, ginghams, etc.) I pulled it out and used the polar coordinates effect in CS3 to get the mint stripes. I then cut the center out of the page and used the bevel effect on it.

For the second mint, add a white circle to the center.

Now I have to figure out how to wrap them!

I wanted to share a little story and some candy canes which you can share with your kids.

To create your own candy canes,

create a "J" shape and fill with red and white

stripes. In Digital Image Pro, I turned the stripes

horizontally instead of vertically.

I Have the Honor of starting the Blog-a- Log

Today, Novemeber 29th  (well, it is today somewhere in the world) Scrapbook News and Review is  determined to bring two weeks of fun and frolic (and exciting activities) to the scrapbooking community.
