Taffy Goes Trick or Treating

This is our little Taffy trick or treating downtown today. She got lots of loving attention and was really pleased with her tiny self. She is too pooped to pop tonight and fast asleep.

I usually just buy candy and answer the door but...

We went out for our walk with the two doglets and decided to walk downtown to take photos instead of walking by the bay. We saw a gaggle of kids with their parents headed the same way and realized that all of the merchants were in their doorways in costume handing out treats to the little kids. There were also lots of doggies dressed up so we said ours were cats dressed as dogs and we were dressed as doting pet lovers....:-) The pups got lots of attention and even some puppy treats from some merchants.

Among the people we met were Joe the Plumber and the political candidates (In varying sizes and ages.)

I was just daydreaming about different ways our president could be selected:

What if Tyra chose the President and VP:

Four beautiful candidates stand before me but only two of them will win the prize of serving our country as President and Vice President. As President, you will win a contract for one term with the possibility of serving again if you do a good job. You will receive a salary of 400.000 per year and an extra perk of the use of Airforce One for travel. As Vice President you will serve as the President of the Senate, and may break tie votes in that chamber. He or she may be assigned additional duties by the president but, the Constitution assigns no executive powers to the vice president.

Sara, you really are stylin' and have shown your good humor on SNL and I admire how far you have come. Your best photos have been due to that fantastic wardrobe you have but the photos of you hunting and fishing would be great for Sports Illustrated. You also have a beautiful family photograph.

John, You were a war hero and you have been around a long time. Your photos are very dinstinquished looking and we think "hero" when we see them. You appear very confident in your photos.

Biden, You are such a distinquished man and have such great qualities. You look really handsome too! All of your photos are flawless. You have the style needed for a VP.

Barrack, Your rain photos were outstanding and a lot of American women
felt faint just looking at them. You also have a very photographic family and those kids are adorable!

Four great candidates, each with outstanding photos but only two names will be called and the other two must pack their campaign promises and return to their day jobs....

I only have two photos and the names I call will be President and Vice President. The President is....

_____and_________ you must now pack up your campaigns and go back to your day jobs.

"And Sarah, I'm lovin' the threads, man. That's the way a VP should look!"

Paula "Well, Sara, I thought you looked lovely and I was right there with you feeling it!" And John, you remind me of a movie star hero, I'm just so loving your campaign. Barrack, keep doing what you're doing. I've heard some of it before but you put your own spin on it! Love it!
And Biden, You were just so dignified and your presentation was so right up with the moment. I was teary, really, I have tears.

Simon: "You really should make all of your speeches in the rain, Barrack, I'm telling you, that was the best speech we have had on AI in years!"
And some of you candidates really need to try something different, something we haven't heard before. And no screaming!

Well, I just loved what everyone said and how they presented the speeches. I worked with them on their delivery and they each have a lot of potential.

Farewell My Hero

It was so hard to watch you leave

But I knew that you must go
