But I think this heat makes people grumpy....I wonder if wars would cease if everyone had beautiful spring weather all the time.
My air conditioner is still broken so I'm still moving slowly. I think the lowest temp in my house has been 82 or thereabouts. But on tv they keep saying to set your thermostat to 78 to conserve. I guess I'm just as well off if it's only a matter of a few degrees.
In this heat I think of all the suffering that folks went through during Katrina, not only the hurricane but the struggles, heat, etc., afterwards and it stirs my heart so much that sometimes I have difficultly forgetting about it at bedtime. While I am awake, I say prayers for all of those going through various types of hardship and catastrophes throughout the globe. Maybe you could join me in that effort?
