The reason I can sing again

When I thought I'd lost my song.

You are the reason I can trust

When trust seemed a thing of the past

You are the first person I think of each morning

And at night you are the last.

Life is full and fun again

I can enjoy the rain and sun again

And sign a sweet refrain again

And YOU are the reason!

I said to this  love of mine

"For to dance you to the end of love

I saw you in the market

And you looked so awfully cute

I didn't say hello to you

For you were dressed up in a suit.

I saw you in the movies

But I didn't bother to say hi

For I saw a pretty lady

Giving you the eye.

I saw you in the car lot

And watched you sell a car

I went into the office

And bought a candy bar.

I saw you in the airport

As you flew off into the sky

You had a travelling companion

So I didn't wave goodbye.

Our paths kept on coverging

But I never knew what to do

To meet and introduce myself

To a handsome guy like you.

Then I fell asleep last night

And as strange as it may seem

I saw you once again-

But only in a dream.

Next time I see you anywhere

I intend to march right up to you

For who knows if perhaps

You would like to meet me too.

As I flew off with my sis

I wanted to say hello to you

But this flight I could not miss.

Strange as it may seem

Ok, I will admit it

I saw you in my dreams!

You were just as lovely there

As you have been in real time

But I seem prone to struggle

The right words to find.

The next time I see you

This I have promised I will do

I'm going to get up my courage

And say hello to you!

To My Hubby I love you more than chocolate I love you more than pie You are my one true love The apple of my eye. You make my heart go pitter patter So much that I can't sleep I end up counting my blessings Instead of counting sheep! I guess what I am saying Is that I love you true And want to send a card to say Happy Father's Day Hubby to you!! Santa Because

I know who he is

I can tell by the beard on his chin

And by his big belly

And his big ole grin.

That he is Santa

Is plain to see

I just hope he remembers

   On Christmas Eve

That I am ME!

There's a round little ole man

Wearing a  funny red suit

Sitting in a fancy chair.

He comes to the mall once a year

And the kids all meet him there!

He calls the kids one by one

To come and sit on his lap.

Well, Mommy said that

It was my turn,

But I really just wanted to nap!

They had me sit on the jolly man's lap

And his beard looked fake to me!

I thought to myself as I spied his elf

"What could the purpose of all  this be?"

I really tried so hard to be polite

And not let him know of my fear

But before you could say boo

(or how do you do)

My face was creating a tear!!

Mommy and Daddy

I really tried

But Santa is scary

And I cried and cried!

Maybe someday he and I could be friends

And I won't be afraid of him then

But for now I'd rather stay at home

And  order my gifts on eBay or the telephone!!
