Thinking back over my various hobbies, I did most of my best sewing on a borrowed old fashioned machine and remnants. By the time I got a great machine I didn't have as much time to sew and not as easy to sew for a teenager.
Our first computer was a TRS-80, then a number of small PC's with little ram and hard drive. By the time I got the best computer I was doing more writing than designing. Adobe has replaced DIP and Picture It. Great plugins and filters but not as much energy and MY memory is worse while the computer's is better...
Now, the dentist is talking to me about correcting my faulty teeth... It could only mean that my best meals are behind me...LOL
Sometimes I wish I were fraught with profundity Like so many others From my neighbors to my brothers But alas I seem destined to be Just me. Yet I seem to do just fine Writing in simplest terms each day Line upon line upon line. Thena Cullen Smith
Ladies, make sure your family takes your photo While you are young and in your prime, Even though you may say you are too busy And don’t want to take the time. Have someone snap your photo To record you with your family, For it’s important that your photo Is there for everyone to see! Make sure they snap that picture When you are on vacation, And record yourself in photo At each birthday and holiday celebration. Let each precious year be recorded Without negative deliberation, For only in your later years Will you realize the “gravity” of the situation!
