Thank you for the welcome back. from CHA . I had some notes from folks who had been hurt by posts on blogs and message boards. They asked for something uplifting-I pray this will be.
...life is good, friendship is good, we have to take chances and risk being hurt sometimes. We take a chance and trust that there are good and kind people all around us that will like us warts and all. We don't have to be brilliant, skinny, fashionable or wealthy, we just have to be the best "us" we can be.
When I started on meds that added weight to my once skinny frame, I hesitated to share my photos because I felt so ugly. But I looked at my friends that I had loved through thick and thin and realized I loved them no matter what.
This freed me to start sharing again. I started sharing even if I had a bad hair day.
This is just my "bodysuit" and it isn't the real me, the real me is my spirt. Time and age will change our "bodysuits" but it is up to us to keep our hearts in tune.
Enjoy life and do your best to help others around you enjoy theirs. We are not responsible for what others do to us, but we are responsible for what we do to others.
I met so many wonderful people at CHA and I trully was thrilled to meet each one. There are so many nice people in this industry. They have hurts, hopes dreams, goals, faults and wonderful qualities just like us all.
I hope you are having a wonderful evening .
