I used to listen to him on the radio on the way to work and he spoke about "getting on the Bible bus" each day. He told the story of a young girl who fell out of bed one night and when her mom asked why, she replied "I guess I stayed too close to where I got in!" That is the way it is with our Christian walk...sometimes we don't grow and change because we stay too close to where we got in!

Hi Thena...yes, yes, I, too, remember James Vernon McGee! I have listened to him many, many times. It is/was people like he...who have given us our foundation on which to stand...without that faith in Jesus Christ..and in God's Word...there would not be much joy or creativity to behold in the world today!!!
